Manufacturer's Warranty

Attention homeowners: for any warranty-related claims, please contact the contractor or organization responsible for initial installation of the system. As a reminder, Universal UV Solutions™ strongly recommends any maintenance, servicing or part replacement be performed only by a licensed professional.


Please note: in order to qualify for warranty service, only licensed, Universal UV Solutions™-branded replacement lamps may be used in any Universal UV Solutions™ product. Use of unauthorized replacement lamps may damage the ballast and will void the warranty. Proof of purchase of both system and replacement lamps is required for all warranty claims.


Five (5) year limited warranty for ballasts and three (3) year warranty for all other parts and components (excluding UV lamps)

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.

Warranty Covers:

The Limited manufacturer warranty covers malfunctions and defects pertaining to material and workmanship of the ballast for five (5) years and for all other parts and components for three (3) years where used under normal operating conditions and service when the product is operated in accordance to the manufacturer's guidance or instructions.

Lamp warranty: All UV lamp(s) are warranted for 1 year

Universal UV Solutions™ will repair or replace any defective part covered by the warranty at no charge. Parts must be shipped prepaid to Universal UV Solutions™. Labor for installation or removal of the malfunctioning part will be paid for by the customer.

Universal UV Solutions™ will not warranty misused, abused, or any use other than its intended use. Improper operation, maintenance, installation, modification, or acts of God are not covered and will void the warranty. Universal UV Solutions™ bears no responsibility for incurred charges for installation or removal of warranted products.

This warranty does not cover any items that are not manufactured by Universal UV Solutions™ and will be voided if UV lamps or parts from any manufacturer other than Universal UV Solutions™ are used with the product.

Consequential and incidental damages are not recoverable under this warranty. Manufacturer assumes no liability for any harm, which may occur as a result of the use of the equipment herein and shall not be liable for consequential or any other damages whether or not caused by manufacturer's negligence or resulting from any express or implied warranty or breach thereof. Consequential damages for the purpose of this warranty shall include, but not be limited to, loss of use, income or profit, loss of or damages to property or injury or death to persons or animals occasioned by or arising out of operation, use, installation, repair or replacement of the equipment or otherwise. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

There are no additional warranties expressed or implied, which extend beyond this warranty.

Registration:

In order to be eligible for service under this warranty, the product should be registered online within 30 days of installation at www.universaluvsolutions.com. Click on the REGISTER heading to enter the relevant data. If the product is not registered online, proof of purchase from a Licensed HVAC Contractor stating the customer name, address and date of installation of the specific product will have to be provided for a warranty claim and to receive an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization). To receive an RMA, send an email to:warranty@universaluvsolutions.com. and an RMA will be emailed back once the Warranty Registration information has been verified, or a proof of purchase is supplied if the product has not been registered. Once the product has been received and inspected, you will be contacted within 30 days of our receipt. If we conclude that the product is covered under warranty we will ship a repaired or replacement unit prepaid. If the product is not covered under warranty, or the warranty has been voided, should you wish the product be returned, it will be returned to you COD.
